Jeff Slusser – Director of Safety & Health
Background and Experience:
My career in construction started out by helping small construction companies after an injury occurred and to minimize their worker’s compensation cost. After realizing that I enjoyed preventing the injury more than mitigating the loss of one, I went back to school and obtained a degree in occupational health and safety and began my journey as a safety professional. My experience prior to working at Park Construction consists of working in the oil and gas field, from mega projects to an oil refinery, I learned from some of the best safety professionals in the world. I’ve taken many of these lessons and applied them to my current position, helping make Park Construction one of the safest contractors in the Midwest.
What are you proud of at Park?
I’m most proud of the development of our front-line supervisors. We have some of the most conscientious leaders in the industry that truly care for the people they work with and actively work to exceed safety expectations and make Park an employer of choice. Hobbies:
In my off time, you’ll most likely find me at one of three places. Skiing, woodworking, or watching my daughters play volleyball.
