Jeffrey R. Carlson | President & CEO
Background and Experience:
I began my career in this industry from the ground up. At thirteen years old, I worked in Park Construction’s shop sweeping floors and washing equipment. As I got older, I moved into the field—first as a general laborer and eventually onto a pipe crew—where I learned the value of hard work and gained firsthand experience in the type of projects that define Park.
From there, I became a heavy equipment operator, learning to run a wide range of machines within Park’s fleet. Once I had a firm understanding of the equipment and its capabilities, I stepped into leadership roles, first as a foreman and then as a superintendent. I later became Park’s General Superintendent, overseeing all field operations and supporting our crews across the company.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from North Dakota State University, which helped complement my field experience with a strong technical foundation. After my time in the field, I took on a number of roles within Park’s office, each offering new opportunities to learn the business and contribute to our growth.
Today, as President and CEO, I lead Park Construction with the same values that shaped me early in my career—hard work, humility, and a deep appreciation for our people. My journey is a reflection of what I believe makes Park special: opportunity, commitment, and pride in the work we do.
What are you proud of, and what is your vision for the future?
I am proud of our 100 year family owned legacy. My vision for Park’s future is sustained growth for another 100 years
